Join me in January 2025 to explore the opulence and splendour of Venice, a true photographer’s paradise of gothic architecture, reflections and ever changing light. Throughout each day we will visit many of the iconic locations and explore some of the lesser known areas too.

You will be encouraged to create your own personal interpretation of this magical city using a variety of photographic styles ranging from classic colour and B&W using long exposures to more expressionistic styles such ICM and multiple exposures.

January is an ideal time to visit with cooler temperatures and less tourists. It is also gives us a good chance to capture the rolling mists and fog that roll in from the lagoon to drape and enchant the ancient city.

Our base for the tour is the 4 star boutique hotel H10 Palazzo Canova which boasts a Terrazzo overlooking the Rialto Bridge and is just 15 mins walk from Piazza San Marco.

Our trip will also include a day trip to the colourful island of Burano, and conditions permitting, the fishing huts of Pellestrina.

Arrival

The tour begins at midday Tuesday 7th January , Check-in at the hotel is from 3pm.(bags can be left with reception if arriving on the morning )

If you wish to arrive the day before tour begins and would like to stay at the H10, you should contact the hotel directly. if you mention you are part of Terry Gibbins photo group, you should be able to take advantage of the group rate, the hotel will also arrange for you to keep your room for the duration.

The tour finishes on Saturday 11th feb after a morning shoot and breakfast.
